Quantora Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Quantora Engineering ("we", "us") collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what rights you have. It applies to our website and web application.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Quantora Engineering, an independent software service operated from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: support@quantoraengineering.com.
2. What we collect

We do not collect your card number, CVV or bank details. Those never reach our systems.
3. How your drawings are processed
Your uploaded drawings are transmitted to our AI provider, Anthropic, for analysis. This is how the take-off is produced — it cannot happen locally. If your drawings are confidential or belong to a client, please satisfy yourself that you are permitted to process them this way before uploading.
We do not use your drawings or outputs to train AI models, and we do not sell or share your project content with anyone other than the processors listed below.
4. Who we share data with
We use a small number of service providers ("processors"), each bound to handle data only on our instructions:

We may also disclose data where legally required, or to protect our rights, safety or property. We never sell personal data.
5. International transfers
Our providers operate infrastructure outside the UAE, including in the United States and the European Union. By using the Service you understand that your data will be transferred to and processed in those jurisdictions under the safeguards those providers maintain.
6. How long we keep data
Account and project data is retained while your account is active and for 30 days after closure, so that an accidental deletion can be reversed and you can export your work. After that it is permanently deleted. Billing records are retained longer where tax or accounting law requires it. Anonymised usage statistics may be kept indefinitely.
7. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our infrastructure provider. Access to production data is restricted, database-level row security separates each customer's records, and API keys are stored server-side and never exposed to the browser. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
You may request access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion of your account and its contents, or an export of your projects and BOQs. You can export most of your data yourself from the Export tab at any time. For anything else, email support@quantoraengineering.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Depending on where you live you may have additional statutory rights, including the right to object to processing or to complain to a data protection authority.
9. Cookies
We use only what is necessary to run the Service: a session token that keeps you signed in, and local storage for interface preferences. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party behavioural tracking.
10. Children
Quantora is a professional tool and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. Changes
We will post any update here and revise the date above. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice.
